Responsible for managing and delivering the key deliverables of HV harness design field according to project timeline.
HV Harness design with focus on mechanical components, sub-components and vehicle integration from the specification until product release in close cooperation with BMW/BBA CoCs
Participate in Geometry Integration round and finalize high-quality HV harness routing scenario.
HV Harness Routing Design, Cable duct design, HV Harness assembly drawing design, skilled in use of CAITA, data management system (TC) and so on.
Responsible for evaluating and clarification the technical requirements, proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English.
Working with harness supplier and deliver scenario about the topic during HV harness assembly in supplier side and OEM plant side.
Supporting HV harness manufacturing process.
Charging Hardware.
Develop supplier-related deliverables and schedules based on project milestones; review supplier deliverables and track progress on structural-related tasks
Break down specific requirements for structural strength, materials, sealing and protection, corrosion protection, and fire protection in accordance with LH specifications; review supplier design proposals, conduct deviation analysis, and provide approval recommendations for deviations
Guide and review DFMEA
Review 3D and 2D drawings according to project milestones and manage drawing control.
Provide support and resolve structural issues during testing, conduct failure analysis, and implement corrective actions for anomalies.
Guide and track supplier pilot production and assembly, and resolve component testing issues.
Communicate with suppliers regarding aesthetic design requirements and review related processes such as materials, tooling, and surface treatments.
Provide approval criteria and recommendations regarding the structural aspects of product components.
Visit suppliers as scheduled to monitor trial production and assembly, and approve products at key project milestones.
CONFIDENTIAL Qualification: - - - - - - - - - - - -
3-5 years of OEMs or Tier 1 working experience as mechanical engineer for HV harness projects.
Master’s / bachelor’s degree or above in automotive or mechanical engineering.
Fluent English. Additional language skills in German would also be welcome.
Profound knowledge in the HV Harness design including standards and technical specification throughout each development phase.
Expertise in Catia and PLM or other CAD and PLM SW.
Process knowledge in component function development, simulation, calibration and/or testing, ideally for HV component development in electrical powertrain.
Strategic and analytic thinking and acting.
Be able to react fast due to situation/condition change on site. Be able to analyze and find solution independently.
Assertiveness, initiative and motivation. Be able to work independently.
High flexibility in a high dynamic environment.
Intercultural experience, feeling and competence.
Travel is required ( ~30%) .
