Your Impact in Role

  • Incubate Growth Bets: lead the strategy for deepening our presence in key customers segments and new products. You will treat specific territories or growth segments as mini-marketplaces, identifying local bottlenecks, and executing strategies to identifying painpoints and solutions for the targeted customers segments.
  • Operational Excellence: Take big-picture growth ideas and break them into actionable operational steps. You will be constantly seeking ways to improve efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Product-Market Fit and Adaptation: Work with regional and global product teams to ensure our features resonate with local market needs during expansion. You will ensure new features solve specific local pain points.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Leverage complex data to understand user behavior in growth segments. You will use these insights to design incentive programs, communication channels, and operational experiments that improve the experience for the users.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Be a passionate advocate for the users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute growth projects that serve the best interests of both riders and driver-partners.

What You Will Bring

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of demonstrated sound business judgment, preferably in operations management, management consulting, investment banking, strategy work, or high-growth startups.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong data-driven mentality with the ability to interpret and present data to various audiences. SQL knowledge is a must. You can translate quantitative findings into specific action plans for supply or demand growth.
  • Execution Capability: Proven track record of leading initiatives from conception to completion with resilience and grit.
  • Versatility: High tolerance for ambiguity. You must be able to switch contexts seamlessly between high-level growth strategy and on-the-ground driver/rider troubleshooting.
  • Communication: Excellent ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and engage the user community with clarity and empathy.
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a plus.
  • Experience in Go-to-Market or expansion strategies is a plus.
