What is Latitude, in a nutshell:
Based in Reims since 2020, Latitude has become one of Europe’s hottest start-ups in the NewSpace sector.
To bring its project to build light launch vehicles to fruition, its workforce has grown from 10 employees to over 170 today.
To support this growth, Latitude is implementing a robust information system centred on three main application components Each application acts as the master of repositories that it must share with the others.
Tasks & Missions:
In order to support our business project teams in the development of their respective information systems, the intern will implement an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) platform to facilitate the exchange of data between the various data repositories of these applications.
The main tasks of this internship are:
- Drafting functional specifications (and data flows) for the EAI
- Designing the software and technical architecture of the EAI in line with the company’s IT strategy (IT Department) in terms of software, hardware and IT security
- Developing the EAI as an IT project, covering all its components (activity roadmap, communication, training)
You will learn:
- How to manage a global IT Projet from Specifications to Delivery of application.
- What day-to-day life is like at a cutting-edge industrial start-up. Gain an understanding of the company’s various processes and roles, and understand how they interact, both from the perspective of business operations and in terms of data flows within the IT system.
- How a young industrial company is equipping itself with a modern IT system whilst taking AI into account.
Preferred experience & skills
As a future engineer, the candidate will have an interest in information systems, IT project management, database management, software development and AI.
Required qualifications:
- Good knowledge of Python for EAI development, and of Python and Java for using APIs for interfaces.
- Good knowledge of database management: creation, development, data manipulation, database structuring and performance optimisation.
- Understanding of the principles of relational databases (Object) and the SQL query language.
- Interpersonal skills, good communication skills, ability to generate ideas, and attention to detail
Essential soft skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Meticulousness and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Initiative and the ability to propose improvements and innovative solutions.

What's next?

- We review your profile and schedule a short call (approximately 30 minutes) to understand your current situation, your motivations and expectations for this role, while outlining the next steps.
- If we’re aligned, you’ll meet with the Head of Department and a member of the HR team for an interview (approximately 1 to 1.5 hours). Depending on the position, a technical test may sometimes be part of the process.
