As part of setting up the launch vehicle production, the assembly and integration process for the various components and subassemblies requires the development of suitable tooling for transfer, integration and handling.
Tasks & missions
Your missions will include:
- Analysing requirements and drafting functional and organizational specifications in collaboration with all stakeholders involved in the project
- Validating with internal HSE teams and external official bodies such as VERITAS/APAVE the safety measures implemented throughout the project
- Contributing to preliminary risk analysis, DUERP drafting in collaboration with HSE, and compliance with the machinery directive for design, production and acceptance
- Designing mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic sub-assemblies using NX software, in collaboration with the DT and DO departments
- Initiating manufacturing, internally or externally, while meeting cost, quality and deadline objectives
- Contacting suppliers, analysing quotes, holding technical discussions and managing the supplier schedule
- Being a source of proposals for daily technical and organizational improvements
- Promoting project-based management, initiative, direct communication and information sharing among all project stakeholders
- Assisting with the assembly of designed sub-assemblies and participating in acceptance and qualification testing
- Learning to identify root causes using tools such as FMEA, 5M, 5Why, QQOQCCP and brainstorming
Preferred experience & skills
Education: Engineering student looking for an end-of-study internship.
Technical skills:
- Office Suite
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal work, additive manufacturing, composites, etc.
- Interest in tooling and welding, especially in an aeronautical-type environment
- Motivation and proactivity
