Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- Define UT systems architectures/sub-systems formal requirements and specifications flow-down using industry standard requirement entry and tracking methodologies
- Analysis and design tradeoffs of various UT architectures including RF and performance simulation to support tradeoff decisions
- Analysis and design tradeoffs of Ku and Ka band phased array chipsets and array antennas
- Support the requirement definition of Ku and Ka band phased array chipsets
- Analysis and design tradeoffs of Ku and Ka band phased array chipsets and array antennas
- Define Ku and Ka band phased array cost efficient, fast production calibration methodology/techniques
- Develop requirements from top-level to sub-assembly, coordinate creation of coverage and test plans release management plans
- Proactive engagement with internal and external customer development on Systems’ hardware and software architectures and implementation
- Document requirements and flow down requirements to various engineering functional team
- Assist in focusing internal and external engineering efforts across the organization
- Ensure delivered work meets technical, functional, performance, regulatory and business requirements
- Support in-field test and validation of various UT systems
- Expect up to 20% of travel depending on the phases of the projects.
