About the Company
Infinite Orbits GmbH is the German subsidiary of Infinite Orbits SAS (Toulouse, France), a NewSpace company founded in 2017 that now counts more than 200 colleagues across locations including Luxembourg and the UK.
We develop in-orbit servicing solutions - from awareness, inspection, and protection of space assets to life extension and satellite servicing - built on our own autonomous Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) technology.
Our core product, Orbit Guard, is an in-space hardware solution with GEO heritage, and LEO capability currently in development.
Building our Munich site marks Infinite Orbits' expansion into the German and European defense and space market, establishing a dedicated local team for business development, R&D, product development, project execution, production, and operations.
About the Role
As Chief of Staff, you work directly with the Managing Director to build Infinite Orbits Germany from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape a company from day one - spanning legal and corporate setup, government and defense-sector relationship management, operational processes, and cross-border coordination with the French parent and the Luxembourg and UK sister companies. You are the MD's closest operational partner: part chief of staff, part operations lead, part strategic project manager.
Job Description
Office & team build-out: Own early-stage HR administration, hiring logistics, and office setup as the Munich team grows from zero to its first hires.
Corporate & legal operations: Coordinate with external counsel and tax advisor; track deadlines and ensure compliance with German corporate obligations.
Government & stakeholder relations support: Prepare briefings, talking points, and follow-up materials for meetings with government stakeholders, institutions, agencies, universities, and industry partners.
Cross-border coordination: Serve as the operational interface between the German and French entity on reporting, budget, and intercompany matters.
Business development support: Track funding programs, event and conference planning, support proposal logistics; ensure deadlines and submission requirements are met.

Experience working in or with German public administration, procurement processes, or corporate/legal setup is a strong plus.

Excellent structured writing and communication skills in both German and English; comfortable producing executive-ready materials from unstructured input.
Strong organizational and project management skills; able to operate with minimal process and build structure from scratch.
High discretion and judgment in handling sensitive commercial, legal, and government-relations information.
