HxGN SmartNet offers the assurance and accuracy of reliable, real-time centimeter-level GNSS/GPS positioning services. Whether you use GNSS/GPS for GIS and mapping, surveying, construction, precision agriculture, or other applications, HxGN SmartNet is the largest provider of network RTK corrections, offering extensive coverage worldwide. More than 5,000 employees in 33 countries help us develop the latest technologies for GNSS positioning.

We currently seek a motivated and relationship-oriented person to drive Smart Net Subscription growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships and cultivating client relationships. This position can be in Duluth, GA or remote. This person will be responsible for managing the SmartNet subscription services for new and existing clients throughout the US and Canadian region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Growth: Identifying new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships to expandthe company’s footprint.
  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Actively prospecting, cold calling, emailing, and networking toestablish new relationships
  • Client Relationship Management: Nurturing partnerships and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis: Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and customers’ needs to shape business strategies.
  • Sales & Pitching: Creating proposals, delivering presentations, and negotiating contracts to close deals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partnering with marketing, product, and sales teams, within the I&G Division and greater Hexagon organization to align strategies and meet customers’requirements while identifying opportunities for growth.

Desired Skills

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 10+ year relatedexperience. Knowledge of Surveying, GNSS or RTK Networks is required.
  • Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of previous Account Management experience
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and SAP desired but not required.
  • Proven experience in negotiation, pitching, and closing, typically using CRM tools
  • Excellent technical, communications and presentation skills required, strong telephone skills.
  • Computer Skills – Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel.
  • Goal-Oriented with focused on meeting or exceeding targets and KPIs
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with potential clients and partners.
  • Ability to analyze market data and identify profitable growth areas.

WORK and PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and communicate clearly.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The work environment is primarily an office setting with occasional exposure to warehouse conditions when assisting with equipment.
  • Noise levels are typical of an office environment but may vary in the warehouse.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work under normal office conditions with some warehouse conditions (i.e. equipment stored on shelves or when assisting in the area of Logistics). TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Job may require minimal < 20% of the time but could vary depending on opportunities and sales cycles up to 50% at times.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word, incl. Mail merge), Outlook, and SAP.
