Position Summary

We are hiring an NDT Level II X-Ray Technician to perform radiographic inspections on aerospace components. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Functions:

  • Operate X-ray and radiographic NDT equipment
  • Prepare, position, and shield parts for inspection
  • Interpret radiographic images based on engineering drawings and specifications
  • Document inspection results and maintain required records
  • Perform daily equipment setup, calibration, and safety checks
  • Identify defects, anomalies, and non-conformances
  • Conduct radiation safety surveys and follow safety guidelines
  • Perform basic maintenance and calibration on X-ray systems
  • Work with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams
  • Support process improvements
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Level II Radiography certification (NAS410 Rev 6)
  • Minimum 80 hours of formal radiography training
  • At least 1,000 hours of hands-on radiography experience
  • Ability to independently set up, inspect, evaluate, and document results
  • Knowledge of radiographic techniques and limitations
  • Completion of general, specific, and practical NDT exams
  • Understanding of radiation safety practices
  • Ability to read technical drawings and inspection criteria

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in RT or other NDT methods
  • Experience with digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR)
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards
  • Experience in export-controlled or regulated environments


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Travel, Physical and/or Government Mandated Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, move or carry items or equipment up to 50 pounds
  • ITAR and EAR environment
  • Ensure your recruiter knows the clearance needed and TA will add the required verbiage such as ITAR


Export Control / Compliance Requirements

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.


Compensation & Benefits

The good faith base salary range for this role is $35.00- $55.00 per hour (based on experience) at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
