Warehouse Operations Associate

Position Overview
As a Warehouse Operations Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, moving, and shipping materials throughout the facility. Working alongside warehouse, manufacturing, and logistics teams, you will help maintain inventory accuracy, optimize storage utilization, and ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and correctly.
This role combines physical activity, inventory management, equipment operation, and systems-based transaction processing in a dynamic warehouse environment.

- 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Receiving & Inventory Management
- Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips, purchase orders, and related documentation.
- Inspect products for shipping damage, defects, or quantity discrepancies.
- Accurately record inventory transactions using warehouse management systems and related computer applications.
- Identify, document, and escalate inventory discrepancies or non-conforming materials.
- Sort, label, and organize incoming inventory according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control initiatives.
- Store materials safely and efficiently while maximizing available warehouse space.
- Organize inventory locations to improve accessibility and operational efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport inventory throughout the facility.
- Move materials, products, and supplies as required to support production and shipping activities.
- Assist with warehouse organization, housekeeping, and workspace optimization.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment based on customer orders and internal requests.
- Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and quality prior to dispatch.
- Operate manual and automated equipment used in shipping and packaging processes.
- Support timely shipment processing to meet customer expectations and delivery commitments.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure inventory accuracy and product integrity.
- Follow established operational procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Identify potential quality concerns and proactively communicate issues to appropriate team members.
- Help minimize waste, improve accuracy, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and environmental guidelines.
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain safe work practices.
- Immediately report hazards, incidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions.
- Participate in safety training and support a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, supervisors, maintenance teams, and support staff.
- Remain flexible and assist with additional operational tasks as business needs evolve.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, or material handling experience.
- Previous forklift operating experience.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to perform system transactions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Ability to follow established procedures and work effectively with moderate supervision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift, move, and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in warehouse and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
