Intern RAMS engineer (f/m/d)

Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety are an extremely important part of system studies and are among the main drivers for Latitude to meet its regulatory requirements as well as company objectives.

To support us in improving the safety and reliability of our launch system, we are now looking for a RAMS Engineer Intern to learn by our side.

Tasks & missions

Your missions will include:

  • Carrying out fault tree analyses by driving working groups
  • Identifying ways to improve safety and reliability
  • Analysing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, as well as electrical diagrams, to identify possible failures
  • Calculating theoretical subsystems and systems reliability
  • Identifying and mitigating critical points
  • Drafting loop diagrams to help understand how electrical and fluidic systems are interfaced

The skills developed will include:

  • System thinking
  • Cross-functional team management
  • Fundamentals of safety and reliability analyses: reliability block diagrams and fault tree analyses

Preferred experience & skills

Education: Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

Technical skills:

  • Office suite, mainly Word and Excel
  • Python
  • Knowledge of launch systems

Soft skills:

  • Teamwork
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Strong analytical skills

What’s next?

Once you’ve submitted your application, including your resume and cover letter, you enter our hiring process.

  • We review your profile and schedule a short call of approximately 30 minutes to understand your current situation, your motivations and your expectations for this role, while outlining the next steps.
  • If we’re aligned, you’ll meet with the Head of Department and a member of the HR team for an interview of approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Depending on the position, a technical test may sometimes be part of the process.
  • Some roles may include a second interview with a peer and/or a C-level leader. For on-site interviews, you may also have the opportunity to meet the team and visit our facilities and factory.
