This role involves analyzing the aerodynamic and aerothermal performance of launch vehicles across the full flight envelope, from transonic to hypersonic regimes. It relies on CFD simulations, supported by wind tunnel testing and flight data, to understand and model complex flow phenomena around the vehicle. The position also includes studying propulsion–flow interactions, contributing to vehicle geometry optimization, and supporting design teams and technical reviews.
