Established in 2017, Infinite Orbits is a NewSpace company, based in Toulouse, pushing the boundaries of in-orbit services with cutting-edge spacecraft driven by its own Rendez-Vous solution, an advanced Autonomous Vision-Based Navigation Solution. IO has two generations of missions

  • "Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO.

  • "Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.

About the Role

The Buyer is responsible for managing indirect procurement activities and supporting project procurement (including EMS / build-to-print environments). He/She handles sourcing, negotiations, and contributes to supplier and contract structuring.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Indirect Procurement Execution

  • Manage indirect purchasing categories

  • Lead RfP/RfQ processes and manage supplier offers

  • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms

  • Create and manage Purchase Orders

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Monitor supplier performance

  • Manage contracts (validity, renewals, compliance)

  • Maintain supplier database in ERP systems

  • Create, update, and monitor Purchase Orders

  • Own the responsibility of issuing POs and ensure consistency between orders, contracts, and invoicing

Reporting & KPI Contribution

  • Contribute to KPI tracking (cost, delivery, quality, compliance)

  • Support procurement and logistics reporting

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in procurement (not entry-level junior)

  • Understanding of technical or industrial environments is a plus

  • Ability to handle both operational and project procurement topics

  • European nationality required

  • Professional English mandatory

  • Odoo ERP knowledge is a plus
