Our robots navigate and map GPS-denied spaces, bringing safety and efficiency to places where people shouldn’t have to go.We are seeking a self-motivated, results-driven software engineer to join our team of SLAM and autonomy engineers.The RoleAs a robotics infrastructure software engineer, you will be responsible for the core infrastructure that supports our robots, our internal engineers, and the external users of our API and SDK. You will build and maintain the core infrastructure that enables reliable autonomous aerial and ground robots in GPS-denied environments, process high-volume sensor datasets into customer-facing data products, and ensure the safe, scalable operation of our deployed robotic systems.What You’ll DoDesign, Implement, and Maintain:- Backend services for real-time robotic systems (health monitoring, mission management, data logging, configuration)- Pipeline infrastructure for post-processing of capture data; software that ties together algorithms on sensor data and generates data products for end users- User interfaces, API, and SDK for command & control, post-processing, and robot administration- Collaborate with robotics software engineers to integrate specialized algorithms with system services- Support real-world deployments; debug issues on live robotic systems; investigate & debug technical support requests escalated by Customer SuccessWhat We’re Looking For- 5+ years delivering software products in a commercial setting- 5+ years with modern C++ (C++17 or newer)- Experience building, packaging, and deploying C++ to ARM and x86 targets- Experience with CUDA and/or Nvidia Jetson ecosystem; experience with ROS or similar robotics frameworks- Familiarity with robotics concepts such as SLAM, state estimation, perception, and autonomy; driven by testing, experimentation, and user feedbackCompensation and BenefitsSalary range: $120,000-$150,000/year.
